<strong>Position: Knowledge Management Specialist</strong></p>

<p>
The Knowledge Management Specialist will have a 50% allocation to managing the Knowledge Associate Program and a 50% allocation as a Knowledge Specialist Floater. </p>
<p>
<strong>Knowledge Associate Program Role</strong></p>
<p>
The Knowledge Management Specialist is responsible for building and managing the team of Knowledge Associates of the Company, which is a captive research arm of Global Business & Strategy Consulting firm in Gurgaon. The Knowledge Associate team is part of Company’s global Product, Practice and Knowledge function, dedicated to developing, capturing, and sharing knowledge across the firm and maintaining Company’s proprietary Knowledge Management system.</p>
<p>
The Knowledge Associate team provides highly leveraged support to global Knowledge Management (KM) and industry & capability Practice Areas (PAs). The Knowledge Associate team:</p>
<ul>
<li>
Disguises and repackages content for submission to the KM system; reconciles new material with any existing, similar content to maintain a fresh knowledge base</li>
<li>
Facilitates capture of client project summaries; ensures case information in the KM system is accurate and high quality (well written summaries, focused case abstracts, accurate meta-tagging)</li>
<li>
Assists on various projects to support Company’s PAs (e.g. newsletters, databases) and KM initiatives (e.g. knowledge-base, content projects)</li>

<strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p style="margin-left:18.0pt;">
· BA or equivalent undergraduate degree required with strong academic credentials; Having an MBA will be an added advantage</p>

· 3+ years experience in a professional services firm environment with exposure to knowledge management or research</p>
<p style="margin-left:18.0pt;">
· 2+ years of experience managing teams in a knowledge management or research function. Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment required</p>

<strong>Knowledge Associate Program Responsibilities and Duties;</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
Provide direct, day-to-day management for a portion of the Knowledge Associate team (currently 12 people)</li>
<li>
Ensure timely, zero-defect completion of responsibilities and duties</li>
<li>
Define deliverables, incorporate PA expectations & direction</li>
<li>
Prioritize and set deadlines</li>
<li>
Review work, provide feedback, ensure quality control</li>
<li>
Drive continuous operational improvement and excellence</li>
<li>
Improve, streamline processes, reports, tools (internally, with KM and PA)</li>
<li>
Identify, codify and share best practices across the Knowledge Associate team</li>
<li>
Set team and individual goals, design and track corresponding metrics</li>
<li>
Proactively resolve problems, remove roadblocks, escalate issues as needed</li>
<li>
Develop high-performing, customer-oriented team culture</li>
<li>
Build relationships with PA, KM customers to understand priorities, gather feedback, and provide regular updates with support from the Group Manager</li>
<li>
Develop professional development plans, provide coaching/training/growth opportunities, recognize accomplishments</li>
<li>
Deliver semi-annual performance reviews and recommend ratings for Knowledge Associates within purview</li>
<li>
Support Group Manager with KA recruiting, training and induction efforts</li>
<li>
As needed, support the Knowledge Specialist Program with recruitment and other various initiatives</li>
<li>
Perform other related duties as assigned or as responsibilities dictate</li>

<h1>
Knowledge Specialist Floater Role</h1>
<p>
The Knowledge Specialist floater position provides cover and additional support to different practice areas as needs arise in the business. If there are times when no additional practice support is needed, the role may also provide help to busy practices that are fully staffed or to the program, product or operations teams in Knowledge Management.</p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Knowledge Specialist Floater Responsibilities and Duties;</span></h1>
<p style="margin-left:18.0pt;">
· Coordinates and manages the global or regional capture and sharing of Company’s knowledge base within the relevant practice area.</p>
<p style="margin-left:60.0pt;">
o <strong>Captures</strong> <strong>case-related information</strong> from client development and case team efforts into Company’s global intranet platform. This includes the capture and processing of case summaries, proposals, case examples, capability and product insights, tools and templates, as well as the meta-tagging of case information to facilitate user searching</p>

o Contacts client case teams and practice affiliates to understand work and <strong>solicit</strong> <strong>best content to fill ongoing practice content needs</strong></p>
<p style="margin-left:60.0pt;">
o <strong>Coordinates with other Knowledge Specialists</strong> to identify cross practice content priorities and works as part of a team to capture and codify materials</p>
<p style="margin-left:60.0pt;">
o Contributes to periodic<strong> product updates: </strong>identifying priority Company cases, executing research and analysis, codifying case examples and packaging insights</p>
<p style="margin-left:60.0pt;">
o <strong>Helps create and package content and insights</strong> in a manner consistent with Company’s professional standards guidelines</p>
<p style="margin-left:60.0pt;">
o <strong>Manages, designs and maintains</strong> <strong>Practice Area</strong><strong> site(s)</strong> on Company’s intranet; ensures newest cases and insights are represented; identifies content gaps</p>
<p style="margin-left:60.0pt;">
o Reviews<strong> Knowledge Management</strong> and other relevant progress metrics to improve how Company captures and shares its intellectual property (IP)</p>
<p style="margin-left:60.0pt;">
o Helps <strong>identify leading Company experts</strong> & develop credentials materials on key topics within the practice area</p>
<p style="margin-left:60.0pt;">
o Conducts external market research to identify key trends, issues and players as relevant to the product portfolio</p>

· Supports the Practice Area Manager and works as a member of the global and regional practice teams to assist with Practice growth and development.</p>

o <strong>Help with basic selling and serving efforts</strong>: forwarding posted materials promptly, tailoring credentials lists for specific proposals, directing to experts / reference case teams, Information Services department (or known external sources)</p>
<p style="margin-left:54.0pt;">
o Contributes to periodic<strong> product, service and trend updates: </strong>identifying best team experience, executing basic research and analysis, codifying and packaging insights</p>
<p style="margin-left:54.0pt;">
o <strong>Supports Practice operations </strong>(including quality control of Knowledge Associate’s output): compiling newsletters, updating distribution lists and tracking experts, reporting revenue , tracking and analysis of pipeline and bake-off, crafting meeting agendas, affiliate call support, and helping with annual planning process</p>
